Brotherhood

Brotherhood is one of the most important aspects of fraternity. Brotherhood, as an ideal, is the thing that bonds us together; it is the glue that holds this social organization together. What's more is that brotherhood is a part of virtually everything we do as it is such an all encompassing idea.

As an activity, however, brotherhood can mean many different things. One of the most important brotherhood events that we do each semester is the Brotherhood Retreat. During this overnight trip, the incoming candidate class participates in numerous activities designed to help them bond with each other, learn to work as a team, build trust amongst each other, and generally help in each members understanding of one another.

We also plan several all-chapter brotherhood events each semester. Some of the things we've done in the past include: brotherhood dinners, a fantasy football league, community service, social outings, and house improvement.

Also one of the most amazing opportunities we have is to take a spring break together as a brotherhood. Last year many of us went to beautiful Panama City and made memories that couldn't be replaced by anything else.

In the future, we look to incorporate even more brotherhood events. As the Zeta Pi chapter continues to grow and thrive, brotherhood will remain and the forefront of our fraternity both as an activity and an ideal.
